Serves 4 (lg servings)
1 pound pasta
16 large fresh basil leaves, chopped
1 lemon, zested and juiced
2 t. salt
3/4 cup grated or shaved parmesan cheese
Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain.
Mix oil, basil, lemon zest, lemon juice, and the salt in a bowl.
Toss the oil mixture into the hot pasta and let the warmth of the pasta heat the sauce. Serve topped with parmesan cheese.
