Sierra d'Oro Olive Oil
Our Tuscan varietal trees were imported from Italy. Located in the Sierra Foothills, our 4-acre family-owned grove is certified organic and we use sustainable growing methods. Our Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oils aren consistent award winners. Our oils are naturally spicy and peppery, full of polyphenols. Depending on the harvest, we make either a Tuscan blend or a single varietal of the Frantoio or the Moraiolo. |

We importer our Tuscan varietal trees bare root from Italy in 1997. Located in the Sierra Foothills, our 4-acre family-owned grove is certified organic and we also use sustainable growing methods. Our Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oils are consistent award winners, in America and Europe since production began in 2005. In the true Tuscan style, our oils are naturally spicy and peppery, full of polyphenols. Depending on the harvest, we make either a Tuscan blend or a single varietal of the Frantoio or the Moraiolo. We bottle an early harvest that is robust, a mid-harvest of medium intensity and a late harvest that has a truly buttery taste. We also have 16 one hundred year-old Mission trees that recently started to bless us with an amazing (gold medal winner) harvest. It is a treat to enjoy their oil. The Foothills' harsh climate and our rocky decomposed granite soil contribute to the intense flavors of our oils, giving them the character and complexity expected from a premium hand-crafted olive oil. For better quality and freshness, we press the olives locally at a unique “under-vacuum” mill within 2 to 4 hours of hand-harvesting. We, of course, only use cold-pressed, first-crush milling for maximum health and flavor benefits. We welcome visitors for a tasting of our olive oils and real Balsamic vinegars and a tour of our 350-tree grove perched on a beautiful hillside with a breathtaking view of the Sierra Foothills. |

We produce olive oil | ||
To produce premium quality award-winning olive oils we keep to the best standards in every phase of growing the trees from pruning, organic fertilizing, monitoring watering to hand-harvesting at optimum ripeness. To get the most intense flavors and health benefits, our olive oil is 100% first-crush, cold-pressed under vacuum to maximize polyphenols extraction. The olive's Tuscan pepperiness combined with our terroir result in unique flavors. |
