O Olive Oil Inc.

Founded in 1995, O Olive Oil is the original maker of crushed citrus olive oils. The oils are not flavored nor infused after the fact. Organic citrus and olives are crushed together to produce these cold-pressed, extra virgin oils. The company also produces a line of rice and varietal wine vinegars. O Olive Oil products have won 13 NASFT (National Association of Specialty Food Trades) Sofi Awards including Best Product and Best Design.

O OLIVE OIL is the premier producer of California specialty olive oils and wine vinegars. O was the first in this country to crush organic citrus with olives to produce our signature line of oils. In 1995 Greg Hinson, co- founder and president, combined his unusual passion for citrus and healthy eating by crushing whole organic citrus with fresh California Mission olives to create an new product category—the extra virgin citrus olive oil. In 1997 Hinson began hand crafting varietal wine vinegars. O Olive Oil is one of the few remaining vinegar makers in this country using the old world Orleans method of natural aging in wood barrels. In 2003 Cook’s Illustrated named our O Zinfandel Vinegar, “overall winner among gourmet brands“ touting its “distinctly earthy, fruity flavor.” Our products have been featured in the New York Times and in top food magazines including Food and Wine, Gourmet, and Saveur, which selected our O Ruby Grapefruit Olive Oil to its prestigious list of 100 international favorites. O has also been featured on the Food Network, Top Chef, and ABC Good Morning America. Our vinegars and oils are in the kitchens of Jacques Pepin, Charlie Trotter, Michael Mina, Wolfgang Puck, Charlie Palmer, Cat Cora, and Tom Colicchio among others. O Olive Oil has been recognized with 13 awards at the annual International Fancy Food Show in New York City, including Outstanding New Product, Outstanding Food Gift, and Outstanding Design.
