Grove 45 EVOO is an organically produced Extra Virgin Olive Oil made from Italian varietals imported in 1994. Located in the Napa Valley, 2009 is the inaugural release of this fresh, fruity, spicy and distinctive oil best used as a condiment or finishing oil. Creatively packaged to preserve the color and freshness of this wonderfully bold, youthful EVOO. We are a proud recipient of the COOC Seal of Certification as Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
We are two long time friends with strong Napa Valley farming traditions who have collaborated to produce this sustainable extra virgin olive oil from our gold medal award winning olive groves. Situated in a remote corner of the Napa Valley the groves were planted in 1995 and 2003 using imported Italian varietals. This exquisite, intense, handcrafted extra virgin olive oil is the realization of a friendship and a dream.

We grow olive trees

Grove 45 EVOO comes from Storm Olive Ranch in the Napa Valley. In 1994 Bonnie Storm imported trees from Italy (4 Tuscan varietals) and in 2003 planted another 200 tress (Sicilian varietal). The groves are organically farmed and are located in a remote corener of the Napa Valley with a unique micro climate and terrior.
We produce olive oil

Grove 45 is an organically farmed facility located in the Napa Valley. Harvest was on November 23rd and 24th of 2009 and the fruit was pressed both on a stone mill and on a hammer mill. The oil was racked one time and containers filled in early February of 2010. Production was very small this year, less than 60 cases.

Nena began farming in the Napa Valley in 1975 and eventually was farming approximately 60 acres of premium wine grapes. In 1996 Bonnie gave her 500 cuttings from her olive trees which Nena propogated in her driveway until they were large enough to plant around the vineyards. In 2003 and 2004 Nena produced a gold medal award winning oil as well. In 2006 Nena sold all of her agricultural properties and retired. After three years Nena was ready to get back into farming so she and Bonnie decided to join forces and Grove 45 EVOO was born.

Bonnie imported Italian trees from Tuscany in 1994 and planted them behind her barn in 1995, located in a little known corner of the Napa Valley. Bonnie has been producing gold medal award winning EVOO since 1998. In 2009 she and her good friend became business partners in Grove 45 EVOO.
