Ontiveros extra virgin olive oil is made from handpicked olives grown on our small family farm in Mendocino County. We grow eight varieties of olives and produce two distinct styles of oil: a blend combining the traditional Tuscan varieties: Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccino, and Pendolino; and a blend common in Andalusia in the south of Spain: Hojiblanca, Arbequina, Picual, and Picudo. The soils and microclimate of our hillside orchards give these unfiltered oils a unique quality. |
