OLEIFICIO R.M. has been making the most of its avant-garde technology to produce its unique olive oil for four generations now, providing a perfect balance between past and future. The company took its first steps in 1901 with Cesare Taddeucci, grandfather to the current owners, Cesare and Umberto Rocchi. Mr Taddeucci followed each phase of production. Today, Cesare and Umberto Rocchi have taken over at the helm of the company. With the support of their children, Mario, Francesca, Paolo and Massimo, they export their products throughout the world. Currently, the company occupies an area of 15,000 m², of which 10,000 m² are indoors. Its modern production plant boasts a capacity of 30,000 bottles per hour, with a storage capacity of over 3,600 tons. Over the past twenty years, the company has enjoyed an excellent growth trend, which has allowed it to triple the number of staff members on its books and achieve a turnover of € 60 million. These results have made Oleificio R.M. one of the leading players in the Italian olive oil market. Furthermore, the company has specialised in both European (78% of total turnover) and Italian (13%) extra virgin olive oils. The olive oil company Oleificio R.M. plays a leading role on foreign markets as well. It is present in Europe and has seen a successful expansion in the Americas as well as in Asia. Indubitably, the company's most popular product is its extra virgin olive oil, which is equal to 91% of its turnover and reflects its marked penchant in its ongoing search for quality. |

Oleificio R.M. boasts a number of certificates obtained in recent years. In 1997 Oleificio R.M. was the first in Tuscany to be awarded the ISO 9002 certificate and in 1998 it adopted the HACCP method. In 2003 the company updated its certification and was awarded ISO 9001:2000 and during 2005 earnt the BRC, IFS and OU certificates. |
