At the farm 'Las Valdesas' five varieties of olive trees are grown, whose olives are harvested and ground separately to obtain five extra virgin olive oils single varieties. The varieties are: Arbequina, Frantoio, Hojiblanca, Picual and Manzanillo. The olives are picked only from the tree, which ensures the perfect state of fruit. They are milled inmediately, the oil is kept in deposits at inerted atmosphere, unfiltered, and bottled on demand. This way, our customers enjoy an extra virgin olive oil of high quality freshly ground. The oil from las Valdesas has achieved many major awards in the world of olive oil: Prize for the best extra virgin olive oil from Spain, awarded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, and second prize in the international fair Expoliva. Hojiblanca: most versatile, for cooking and frying. Picual: the healthiest one. Manzanillo: Rare in the market. |

We produce olive oil | ||
We pick our olives before they mature to obtain a high quality fruity olive oil. The mill is located at the farm, so we mill the olive fruits just after they are picked. The oil production process consists mainly in a cold extraction by centrifugation. We only pack on demand, so that our customers can enjoy our extra virgin olive oil impregnated with fruity aromas and freshly milled taste. |
