IGADI OLIVE ESTATE The Estate olive trees unfold between the tops of the Langeberg and the Klaasvoogd valley in the Breedevalley region. The perfect elevation (300m , the rich soil and the benevolent climatic conditions form an ideal combination for the cultivation of the olive tree. At the IGADI Estate our mission is to offer to the National and International demanding consumer an artisanal Superior extra virgin olive oil from a specific "region and area" untainted for its quality and taste, which is reflected by the uniqueness of the fertile soil, the local climate (hot summers -mild winters) and the traditional cultivation and production methods. IGADI is family driven and owned by Van Wassenhove Fernand & Gina and oldest son who helps manage the technical part . This is why our olive oil is unique! The Italian cultivars find the perfect conditions to deliver the most tasteful South-African Premium Quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This award is given from a combination of natural environmental factor like the stony soil, the sunny and hot summer and the optimum altitude from the sea level. The olives are harvested during the months from April to June and fully handpicked.

An Italian ALFA LAVAL machine was imported to Robertson to ensure that the olives are pressed in the best conditions and the highest quality.Tanks are filled with nitrogen to ensure no oxygen is interfere in the process.The olive oil drips out of the centrifuge and go tru a bio -energy pipe to keep the oil as live as possible till it go into the bottle.A superior extra virgin olive oil with a Golden Award.
