Olivarera Italo-Mexicana was founded by Italians and Mexicans with one same goal in mind “The production of prime quality extra virgin olive oil from olive trees planted and harvested in Mexico. We are located on the 32 parallel (just as the Mediterranean stripe) 45 Km southeast of Mexicali, Baja California on the brow of the Sierra de Juarez and adjacent to the Laguna Salada. It is here where you find Olivarera Italo-Mexicana S.A.de C.V., with more than 260,000 olive trees planted in over 3,100 acres, surpassing in size and olive tree varieties most of the olive groves in the world. Our olive trees perform a very valuable environmental task by transforming carbon monoxide into oxygen and thus helping reduce the “greenhouse effect” in the area.

We grow olive trees

We have a Mission, Nevadillo, Carolea and Coratina olive trees, With the use of only organic fertilizers and no pesticides, our olives may be classified an “agro-organic product” which is in great demand these days. The installation of a fert-irrigation system allows us to irrigate by drops. We ration the use of water, giving every single tree the exact amount of water it requires for the different seasons of the year.
We produce olive oil

Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is 100% natural, obtained from the highest quality olives and extracted by the “first cold press” method, using the latest technology. Because of the partnership with Italian investors and producers, we have continuous counseling for the olive grove and access to the latest equipment. This is a guarantee for premium quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
