Acushla is a portuguese producer of organic extra virgin olive oil and organic honey. The farm - Quinta do Prado - is located in Vila Flor and has 740 acres. With 34 acres of centenarian olive trees and 543 acres of new olive trees, the farm has approximately 70 000 olive trees, which, when maturity is reached, will be the largest organic production area in the region of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro.

From the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) of Trás-os-Montes, ACUSHLA is a high quality product, extra virgin, with an acidity of 0,1. Beyond the excellent texture and flavour, ACUSHLA is recommendable from a nutritional point of view, and reveals in all its production stages a distinctive environmental concern. It is appropriate to serve at the table as well as in the making of gourmet courses. Extracted from a variety of typical olive trees from Trás-os-Montes – Cobrançosa, Madural, Verdeal and Cordovil –, ACUSHLA is considered a balanced olive oil, medium fruity with a slightly spicy and bitter taste. It presents a greenish yellow colour. Also produced in Quinta do Prado, the Acushla Honey is a natural product, extracted from wild plants with the predominance of rosemary. 2006
