Rancho Los Amigos Olive Orchard
We are a small family owned orchard started in 2002, and we grow award winning gourmet Extra Virgin Olive Oil. We are 100% Arbequina variety and our orchard consists of 340 trees planted in 3 stages. |

We planted or first 200 trees in May of 2002 here on the central coast and watch the trees just enjoy themselves growing here in the Templeton Area. Our first real harvest was the fall of 2005 and was cold pressed by Foxdale farm. In the spring of 2006 we bottled and entered our first judging in Los Angeles fair and we went silver that year. And from then on things were all good. We decided to plant 2 more sections and open a web site and the rest was all up to the trees and mother nature. This past year we went Gold at the California Mid State Fair, and several others at different fairs. Most of our sales are to local folks and several wonderful people around the USA. |

Our variety is Arbequina and the trees are eleven years old and 2nd stage are 5 years old and 3rd stage are 2 years old. |

We have the orchard picked on a Friday and the olives are delivered the next morning to Foxdale Farm which is just a short trip of 4 miles away. In February we will check and if ready we will start to bottle. We use a 4 position bottler by Xpressfill which has cut our bottling time down to almost nothing. |
