As 3rd generation, we cultivate more than 2.000 olive trees in a total area of 9 hectares, in the region of Ermioni-Kranidi in the Peloponnese/Greece. The region consists of low hills covered with olive groves and small forests. As a result of the south-facing aspect of the area, the olive trees are exposed to direct sunlight and the microclimate is warmer. Respecting the tradition, our olives are harvested by hand (hand-picked) avoiding any damage to the olives or the twigs. In this manner the best quality of oil is undoubtedly produced. Ariston olive oil is extracted under cold temperature pressing, from the varieties of Manaki and Koroneiki olives. As a result of the microclimate, the soil, olive varieties and the harvesting method, Ariston olive oil has distinctive characteristics such as low acidity -oleic acid <0.3%- combined with a unique flavor and aroma. It is available in glass bottles and metal tins. The Ariston extra virgin olive oil is produced in accordance with quality standards ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC and IFS.
