Olive d'Or (the Golden Olive) is North America's largest extra virgin olive oil competition. Entry in the Olive d'Or competition is open exclusively to extra virgin olive oils. The Olive d'Or competition's primary purpose is to showcase high-quality extra virgin olive oils. Because the competition takes place during SIAL Canada, Canada's largest food industry trade show, it has prime media exposure.
