Revamped Information Website

For almost three decades now, The Olive Oil Source has been supplying concise, broad based information in one convenient place for all of us in this continually expanding industry. Dr. John Deane started this site in 1998 because he wanted to disseminate information on olive oil, which at the time was hard to come by. A lot of time has passed since our last update of the site and we felt the time had come to revamp it. We have attempted to make the new site more specific to the olive oil business and wherever possible, removed information easily available in other locations with the hope of making the site easier and quicker to navigate.

Additionally, we have changed the hosting site and hence the formatting in order to keep up with ever changing technology. We hope it makes for easier viewing on multiple browsers and mobile devices and ease our maintenance of the site. Due to these changes, however, pages will appear differently than they have in the past.

Finally, we hope to have increased blog postings to better address current issues. We will also publish quick question and answer posts based on questions we have been asked many times.
