Like a wine bar, patrons stand up at a bar to taste olive oil. Most all olive oil producers with retail locations offer olive oil tasting. Most producers at a farmer's market have a tasting bar. Olive oil tasting bars originated along with the resurgence in the olive oil industry in the early 1990's.
